sulemankayat:

Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water, Will they not then believe?

[Quran 21:30]

Musa (as) had a speech impediment and was cast out for accidently killing a man. Yusuf (as) was thrown into a well by his own brothers and became a slave. Ibrahim (as) was thrown into fire. But Allah made Musa (as) split the Sea and defeat the superpower and his army, made Yusuf (as) become the king and made Ibrahim (as) an ummah of himself and the father of the prophets. Allah’s promise is true and His help is near. But it required a process. A process that you cannot speed up or ignore. A process that begins with complete reliance (tawwakul) and is sustained by the water of tawheed.

How can you trust one who doesn’t pray. If he abandons his Maker, what makes you think he won’t abandon you?
Mufti Ismail Menk  (via thepathofabeliever)

zuleikhax:

Former Mexican Christian Br. Umar tells us how he came to Islam by having a dream about the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلّم)

Truly beautiful, subhanAllah. It just makes me realize that you could be at the ends of the earth, but if Allah chose you for Himself by guiding you to Islam nothing can stop that from happening. I mean, having the privilege to see Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وسلّم) in your dreams just like that, something that people yearn for an entire lifetime? Even before being Muslim? It’s amazing subhanAllah and Allah is the Most-Merciful. It’s about 18 minutes, it’s really humbling to watch so go go go!
